Texas Star operates the most advanced, late model tractors in the industry, standup conventional Freightliners/Internationals.  They are powered by CAT, Detroit and Cummins ISX engines with 10 and 14 speed transmissions.  Some automatic transmissions are available. Tractors are assigned, no slip seating.

Tractors have satellite communication systems, air-ride suspensions, air-ride seats and are fully equipped with am/fm cassette stereos, speakers, air conditioning, heated mirrors, power steering, and cruise control power option. 

As a part of the employment process, all applicants approved for hire by Texas Star are required to attend a paid drivers' training session in Rockwall, TX. Employment begins after completion of the orientation class. All employees are on a 90 day evaluation period to determine performance and working proficiency.
