TEXAS STAR ANNOUNCES NEW LEASE PURCHASE PROGRAM

In January of 2009, Texas Star Express introduced a lease purchase plan that included 2009 Internationals, Freightliners, and Volvos. The response was overwhelming; all forty-three trucks in the initial program were sold within ten weeks. The plan included numerous optional perks, including fixed fuel costs and guaranteed maintenance programs. With low weekly payments and a one-dollar buyout, drivers were eager to sign up and the trucks went fast!

As a continued effort to grow our independent contractor fleet, Texas Star established a separate lease purchase program with 2007 Freightliner Columbia tractors. This program offers the driver a short term lease of thirty months and a one dollar buyout.
